Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele/PCU
Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while keeping patients safe and comfortable
- Collaborate with an amazing interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes
- Precept and mentor nursing students, helping shape the next generation of caregivers
- Float to sister units when needed, expanding your skills and meeting new colleagues
- Respond quickly and confidently during low-census standby rotations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of recent Med Surg experience, telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
- Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia monitoring
- Comfort caring for patients with chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, post-surgical needs, and more
- Experience with stable CPAP/BiPAP patients
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Flexibility to float to Multi-Care, PEDS, and West Campus units
