Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients awaiting placement from the emergency department
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
- Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone according to physician orders
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Support med/surg/tele and overflow units as needed while floating between campuses
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care while helping patients feel comfortable during their stay
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start
- Comfortable floating between campuses and units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Titration of cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
- Experience caring for med/surg/tele patients
