Location: Chandler, Arizona

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using centralized telemetry
- Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to deliver excellent outcomes
- Maintain strict sterile technique during all procedures and patient care
- Educate patients and families about recovery after neurosurgery, craniectomy, and TPA treatment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent neuro or telemetry experience within the last 6 months
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
- Strong sterile technique skills with willingness to complete a pass/fail exam on day one
Knowledge & Skills
- EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
- Sterile field maintenance and sterile technique
- Neuro post-op care including post-crani and spine patients
- Stroke care and post-TPA management
- Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
