Pharmacy Technician
Location: Westminster, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No double backs, nights not required. Rotating holidays but none during this contract.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding to ensure patients receive safe, accurate medications
- Restock Pyxis machines across nursing units and procedural areas so clinical teams have what they need
- Navigate Epic to manage medication orders and maintain accurate records
- Prepare and restock code trays and emergency kits that could save lives
- Answer phones and medication messages to keep communication flowing smoothly between pharmacy and care teams
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
- PTCB Certification required
- Sterile compounding experience is a must
- Epic experience strongly preferred
- Pyxis experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Sterile compounding techniques
- Epic electronic health record system
- Pyxis automated dispensing system
- Inpatient pharmacy operations
- Medication restocking and inventory management
