Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions using ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring skills
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
- Float to same-level-of-care units to support your colleagues and expand your clinical experience
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
- Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing best practices
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
- ICP monitoring and titration of insulin and cardizem drips
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care across diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
