Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, holistic care to oncology and trauma patients across the continuum
• Monitor and manage complex PCU and med/surg patients with varying acuity levels
• Administer chemotherapy and titrate cardiac drips while ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
• Float to similar units to support colleagues and maintain excellent patient outcomes
• Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred; chemotherapy certification a plus
• Comfortable with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and EPIC charting
• Open to first-time travelers who bring enthusiasm and a team-first attitude
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills for mixed PCU and med/surg oncology patients
• Ability to titrate insulin and Cardizem drips safely
• Familiarity with Alaris pumps and specialty lift equipment
• Excellent communication and cultural sensitivity
• Willingness to learn ICP monitoring and real-time hemodynamic skills
• Commitment to teamwork and supporting colleagues across the unit
