Location: Redwood City, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a day off during the week
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
- Deliver specialized treatment for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients
- Support ventilated patients in the ICU with skilled therapy interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage a varied caseload that includes cardiac surgery patients and complex medical conditions
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in California
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Experience with orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
- Comfort working with ventilated patients in ICU settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to varied patient populations and diagnoses
- Comfort working independently with minimal orientation
