Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety and timely interventions
- Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin with precision and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless bedside reports and coordinated care plans
- Float to other telemetry units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and recovery expectations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Neuro experience highly valued
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to 2 attempts
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
- Experience with titrating cardiac and insulin drips
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
- Ability to maintain sterile technique during procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
