Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients
- Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to rhythm changes
- Collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from procedures like total joint replacements and abdominal surgeries
- Precept and mentor nursing students, sharing your expertise and passion for the profession
- Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and West Campus as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
- Monitor and manage patients on stable CPAP or BiPAP therapy
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience, telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
- Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Comfort managing patients with infections, respiratory conditions, and post-operative needs
- Flexibility to float across units and adapt to different patient populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
