Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across acute inpatient units
- Assess and treat patients recovering from TKA, THA, spinal surgery, CVA, and general medical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER settings
- Develop personalized rehabilitation plans that help patients regain strength and independence
- Document progress and adjust treatment strategies to maximize patient outcomes
- Support patients through every stage of their recovery journey with compassion and expertise
Qualifications
- Active California PT license required
- BLS certification needed
- Acute Inpatient PT experience is essential
- Strong assessment and rehabilitation skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and individualized care planning
- Rehabilitation techniques for post-surgical and neurological patients
- Working effectively in fast-paced acute care environments
- Clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Adapting treatment approaches to meet diverse patient needs
