Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
- Interpret EKGs and monitor Philips telemetry systems to ensure patient safety
- Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, and 24/7 pharmacy support
- Float to other telemetry units such as T5, T6, and Neuro Tele as needed to support hospital-wide care
- Maintain sterile technique during SIMs Lab skills including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
- Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac stepdown and post-surgical patient care
- Cerner EMR documentation
- Philips telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- CPAP and high-flow oxygen management
- Sterile field maintenance for catheter and line procedures
- Floating across multiple telemetry units
