Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to PCU/IMCU patients with cardiac conditions
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors, adapting to varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac populations and telemetry
• Comfortable floating and adapting to different units

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac drip management and monitoring
• Knowledge of STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-CABG care
• Competent with EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
