Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to PCU/IMCU patients with cardiac conditions
- Monitor and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
- Float to all PCU/IMCU floors, adapting to varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with cardiac populations and telemetry
- Comfortable floating and adapting to different units
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in cardiac drip management and monitoring
- Knowledge of STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-CABG care
- Competent with EPIC electronic medical records
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
