Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of CT and X-Ray technical procedures, using independent judgment and critical thinking to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, DR, and CT applications with confidence
• Administer IV insertion and contrast injections as needed for CT imaging
• Practice strict infection control and maintain patient confidentiality in line with hospital policies and OSHA standards
• Complete annual mandatory education and maintain department competencies as required
• Provide excellent written and verbal communication, including using Tiger Text for team coordination
• Support department operations by supervising or instructing personnel when assigned
• Remain flexible to assist with other duties within scope of practice during low census times

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Radiology License required
• ARRT certification in both Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (R) required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience required
• Previous travel experience of 6 months or more preferred
• Current agency travel experience of at least 6 months to 1 year required; first-time agency travelers will not be considered
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Willingness to perform other duties within scope during low census
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• No concurrent per diem/PRN assignments allowed during this travel contract
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile upload; no more than 5 days accepted

• CR and DR application troubleshooting
• Infection control and OSHA compliance

• Independent judgment and critical thinking
