Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions as outlined in the physical therapist's plan of care
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs for continued recovery
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising PT
• Maintain a safe, compliant environment following infection control and safety standards
• Support patients in restoring mobility and achieving their treatment goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with the care team
• Great communication and patient education skills

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Knowledge of physical therapy interventions and modalities
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
• Patient care and patient education skills
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork
