Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed Occupational Therapists to help patients regain independence
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve daily living skills
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed treatment records
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of New Hampshire
• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• CPR certification (BLS) required
• New graduates are welcome to apply; experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is a plus
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt activities to patient needs
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
