Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: Nashua, NH
Start Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Bill Rate: $30 - $38/hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed Occupational Therapists to help patients regain independence
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve daily living skills
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed treatment records
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of New Hampshire
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- CPR certification (BLS) required
- New graduates are welcome to apply; experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is a plus
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt activities to patient needs
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
