Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Work efficiently within 30-minute appointment slots to keep patient flow moving smoothly
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Deliver quality care without the need for X-rays or exams, supported by a dedicated assistant

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygiene license
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced dental practice
• Comfortable working with a dental assistant and using 30-minute appointment slots

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
• Strong understanding of oral health and disease prevention
• Patient education and communication skills
• Ability to maintain a sterile and organized work environment
• Teamwork and collaboration with dental staff
• Time management and adaptability
