Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient exams, procedures, and adjustments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with orthodontic procedures or a strong desire to learn
• Proficiency with dental software such as Denticon
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Skilled in dental radiography and infection control
• Comfortable using electronic dental records (Denticon)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• A warm and reassuring bedside manner
