Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during brace adjustments, Invisalign fittings, and other orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays, as well as oral impressions for custom appliances
• Educate patients on proper care of braces and aligners, ensuring they feel informed and confident
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts with treatment notes
• Provide exceptional chairside support to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred
• Hands-on experience with orthodontic treatments, including braces and Invisalign
• Knowledge of dental terminology and chairside assisting techniques
• Current CPR certification a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of orthodontic instruments and materials
• Proficient in taking dental X-rays and pouring/trimming models
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail
