Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including scaling, root planing, and polishing
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care to empower healthier smiles
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient treatments and update medical histories accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures while maintaining strict sterilization standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental instruments and equipment
• Knowledge of radiography techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Familiarity with dental software and record keeping
