Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered dental hygiene care to every patient
• Perform thorough cleanings, exams, and periodontal assessments
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices to promote long-term health
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a seamless patient experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulations

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Skill in patient communication and education
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
