Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to maintain patient oral health
• Take and analyze dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and oral health screenings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and confidentially
• Collaborate with dentists to deliver exceptional, patient-centered dental care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• New graduates are encouraged to apply - we value fresh perspectives and eager learners

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
