Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and preventive treatments
• Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral health practices and personalized hygiene routines
• Collaborate with the dentist to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate patient records while following all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience performing dental hygiene procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software and digital radiography
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Strong attention to detail in patient assessments
• Ability to educate and comfort patients with a caring approach
