Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with accuracy and care
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while upholding infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in a clinical dental setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and radiography
• Strong patient education and chairside manner
• Attention to detail with sterilization and safety protocols
• Time management and multi-tasking in a fast-paced office
