Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and function.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and modalities to improve strength, balance, and range of motion.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Mexico.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT or MSPT).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for helping patients achieve their goals and improve quality of life.
• Previous experience in outpatient or long-term care settings is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply!

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to develop and implement effective, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Proficient in documenting patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Compassionate, empathetic approach with a focus on patient education and empowerment.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing patient needs.
