Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ER)
Location: Seattle, WA
Start Date: 08-31-2026
End Date: 11-30-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert emergency nursing care to patients with diverse conditions, including stroke, STEMI, sepsis, chest pain, and behavioral health needs.
- Perform rapid comprehensive assessments, monitor telemetry, and initiate critical interventions when seconds count.
- Collaborate with physicians, ED techs, and support staff to streamline patient flow and provide compassionate, respectful care.
- Administer medications and manage drips, including insulin, cardiac, and sedation drips, with confidence.
- Triage patients effectively and support fast-track care through the lobby, stepping in as charge nurse when needed.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington or a compact state (or pending - we're happy to wait!)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Behavioral health experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Previous travel experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Knowledge of emergency medications, drips, and interventions
- Comfortable working with behavioral health patients
- Adaptability to float within Region I facilities as needed
