Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement tailored treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and ambulation training
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments within the plan of care
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide compassionate care in a 198-bed skilled nursing facility

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Missouri
• Open to new graduates - we welcome and mentor recent grads!
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Understanding of patient documentation standards
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
