Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patients feel at ease
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage patient records with accuracy, using Denticon software
• Help with patient check-in and scheduling as needed

Qualifications

• Certified or trained as a Dental Assistant (certification may be required per state regulations)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• Current CPR certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental software is a bonus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Denticon)
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
