Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling for lifelong dental wellness
• Take and develop digital radiographs for diagnostic purposes
• Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately
• Sterilize instruments and prepare examination rooms to ensure a safe, hygienic environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Prior experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instruments
• Knowledge of dental software for patient records
• Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
