Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to outpatient cardiology patients following established standards and best practices.
• Assist providers and clinic staff in coordinating patient care and follow-up.
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers to ensure smooth communication and excellent service.
• Perform and interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms, identifying arrhythmias and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and related procedures safely and effectively.
• Carry out basic nursing principles and procedures, maintain accurate patient documentation, and support clinic workflows.
• Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment and collaborate with the team to improve care.

Qualifications

• MT RN Licensure (required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
• Basic coronary class required
• At least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Proven ability with EKG interpretation, cardiac arrhythmias, and cardiac medications
• Basic office and keyboarding skills; strong communication and patient coordination abilities
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug screen, health/immunizations)

• Graduate of nursing program
