Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating schedule including every other weekend and holiday, hours may vary; must be available to float to West Campus
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions
- Monitor and assess neurological status, including vital signs and level of consciousness
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease process and discharge planning
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of neuro nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to float to different units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in electronic medical records
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
