Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Qualifications

Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Therapist preferred for travel assignments

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patient populations
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Proficient in documentation and electronic health record systems
Time management and organizational skills to handle a caseload efficiently
