Location: Westerville, Ohio

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Night Shift, No weekends
Hours per Week: 24
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care for critically ill neonates in the NICU
- Perform ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway management
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists and the NICU team to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor and assess respiratory status, adjusting treatments as needed
- Educate families on respiratory care and equipment, offering compassionate support
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- NICU experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of neonatal respiratory physiology and disorders
- Ventilator management and weaning protocols
- Neonatal resuscitation and emergency response
- Patient and family education
- Effective communication and collaboration
