Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible per diem schedule, 8-hour shifts available across days, evenings, and nights

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure quality and continuity of care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Connecticut
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Previous CNA experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Team collaboration and active listening skills
