Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
At least 1 year of recent emergency department experience preferred
BLS certification required (AHA)
ACLS certification required (AHA)
PALS certification preferred
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-acuity environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in IV starts, wound care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency procedures
Comfortable with EPIC or similar EMR systems
Time management and prioritization skills in a high-volume setting
