Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ER environment
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in emergency nursing assessment and intervention
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and emergency procedures
- Knowledge of trauma, stroke, and cardiac arrest protocols
- Adaptability to handle multiple priorities and changing situations
