Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: Denville, New Jersey
Start Date: 05-07-2026
End Date: 03-10-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts (6:30am-5:30pm) or 5x8-hour shifts (6:30am-2:30pm); 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke Coverage.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and administer medications as needed
- Assist physicians with stent placements and angioplasty
- Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and families
- Respond to STEMI and stroke alerts with urgency and expertise
- Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- DCI/BVP certification
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamic monitoring
- Proficiency in sterile technique and radiation safety
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
