Location: Providence, Rhode Island

End Date: 06-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Evenings, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to women in the Emergency Room and Labor & Delivery settings
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with ANA Standards
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC electronic health record
Assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport via wheelchair or stretcher

Qualifications

Active Rhode Island RN license
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
NRP certification required
Minimum 1 year of LDR (Labor, Delivery & Recovery) experience
Willingness to work in the Women's Emergency Room setting
EPIC proficiency required
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination required
English proficiency required

Labor and Delivery nursing expertise
Emergency room care skills
EPIC electronic health record proficiency
Patient assessment and care planning
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Physical capability for patient handling and transport
