Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Start Date: 08-06-2026

End Date: 06-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, every other weekend (Friday and Saturday)

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide float coverage across MedSurg Telemetry and Progressive Care Units (PCU)
Monitor and care for cardiac patients, including those post-catheterization
Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and patient care coordination
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient needs

Qualifications

2+ years of recent MedSurg Tele and PCU experience
Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience, including care of cardiac catheterization patients
Active BLS and ACLS certifications (must have current certifications)
EPIC experience required
Active Rhode Island or compact nursing license

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and monitoring
Telemetry interpretation
Progressive care nursing
EPIC electronic health record proficiency
Float pool adaptability
Strong communication and teamwork skills
