Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans following physician orders and safety protocols
Position patients and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort
Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper image archiving
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging outcomes

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and health requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MRI safety protocols including contrast administration
Expertise in positioning and immobilization techniques
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and adjust scan parameters
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
