Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Registered Nurse
• Assess and monitor patient condition, implementing nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and self-care
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control practices at all times

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse credentials (state licensure required where applicable)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
• Comfortable working per diem shifts with flexibility and professionalism
• Experience in MST (Military Sexual Trauma) or related behavioral health care is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• Reliable clinical judgment and commitment to patient advocacy

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of state-approved nursing program and successful NCLEX-RN

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safe dosage calculation
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to respond to clinical changes and escalate appropriately
• Compassionate trauma-informed care practices (MST-aware)
• Team collaboration, time management, and patient education skills
