Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within the MST program
  • Assess patient condition, implement nursing interventions, and monitor outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Document patient care and progress clearly in the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow care plans
  • Advocate for patient needs and provide education to patients and families

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligibility to obtain one
  • Clinical experience as an RN; MST program experience is a strong plus
  • Current BLS required; ACLS or other certifications preferred when applicable
  • Comfortable working per-diem assignments and adapting quickly to new teams
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mentality

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid clinical assessment and triage skills
  • Medication administration and IV competency
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
  • Trauma-informed care approach, particularly relevant to MST patients
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy abilities
