Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the overnight shift
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and handoffs
• Document patient care and clinical observations clearly in the medical record
• Support patients and families with education, empathy, and evidence-based guidance

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Experience or interest in the MST specialty
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications preferred
• Comfort and competence working overnight shifts and managing acute needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with care teams
• At least one year of recent clinical RN experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• BSN preferred where available

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making
• Proficient with medication administration and IV/infusion management
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate charting
• Ability to handle crises calmly and prioritize patient safety
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient/family education abilities
