Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
Conduct thorough assessments and develop clear, actionable care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care and progress in the medical record in a timely manner
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
Educate patients and families to support recovery and promote health
Respond promptly to emergency situations and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (or RN compact license where applicable)
Experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally with exposure to MST specialty care
Current BLS required; ACLS and specialty certifications encouraged where relevant
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in per diem assignments and integrate quickly with new teams

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of nursing assessment, documentation, and medication administration
Comfort with care planning and interdisciplinary coordination
Experience with electronic medical records and timely charting
Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches relevant to MST patients
Excellent interpersonal skills and patient education techniques
