Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to adult and older adult patients in a 32-bed Surgical ACE unit
• Maintain a safe 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio while managing telemetry and acute medical needs
• Administer Heparin drips and all acute medications as ordered with precision and care
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support trauma, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing patients
• Use EPIC EMR to document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy tools to promote patient safety and recovery

Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Documented Medical/Telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Prior NICHE training, skilled nursing, or rehab experience is a plus
• Ability to care for a diverse adult and older adult population, including trauma patients
