Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse population of medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Hawaii or ability to obtain before start
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be flexible with scheduling and floating to other units

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Skilled in wound care and chest tube management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to changing patient assignments
