Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient outcomes
Care for laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients in a 4-bed LDRP unit
Utilize advanced fetal monitoring and electronic health record systems
Provide patient education and emotional support during critical moments

Qualifications

Active Alaska state RN license required
Minimum 2 years recent LDRP experience
BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
Experience with Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations, and bedside fetal monitors preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetrics
Proficiency in electronic medical records (Meditech) and fetal monitoring (OBIX)
Ability to float within unit as needed
Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
