Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-risk maternal patients during labor and delivery
• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and other procedures
• Triage and assess patients in a fast-paced Level 4 maternal center
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement, and more
• Collaborate with a supportive team in a tenured unit with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients and circulating in OR
• BLS certification required
• NICU or fetal monitoring certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech and CPN charting systems
• Strong multitasking and fast-paced decision making
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of standardized order sets for labor and delivery
