Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based critical care to adult ICU patients
Assess, monitor and document patient condition using clinical judgment
Administer medications and titrate therapies safely and accurately
Manage ventilators and advanced hemodynamic monitoring as required
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and rapid changes in status
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in California or valid compact RN license
Experience working in an ICU or critical care environment
BLS (Basic Life Support) required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required or recently maintained
Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to prioritize
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Completion of clinical training with ICU/critical care exposure

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and advanced patient monitoring
Ventilator management and respiratory support knowledge
Hemodynamic monitoring, IV therapy and infusion management
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Ability to function in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and patient advocacy
