Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts with weeknight call 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekend/holiday call shifts including 24-hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) and 12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) rotations

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care during GI procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, and EUS
Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients throughout their journey
Collaborate with the GI team to deliver safe, high-quality ambulatory surgery experiences
Float to support GI cases across the Main OR, Emergency Department, and Critical Care areas
Document accurately using Cerner and maintain clear communication with the care team

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Procedural Sedation experience required
Advanced GI RN experience with screening and interventional procedures
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of GI procedures and patient monitoring
Ability to respond confidently during on-call situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between multiple care settings
