Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary/scheduled as needed), 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact license where applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred depending on unit
- Previous acute care or clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical monitoring
- Medication administration and IV therapy basics
- Electronic charting and accurate documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Effective patient and family education techniques
